Hi, I am Demetrius,
I know what it’s like to want more from Scripture but not know where to start.
I grew up in a Christian home and spent over a decade pursuing music—dreaming of a career as a jazz artist and film scorer. I played in church from the time I was 14, but I never imagined that one day, God would lead me away from the stage and straight into His Word.
Then something changed.
In my late teens and early 20s, God placed mentors in my life who saw what I couldn’t: a calling to teach, preach, and help others understand Scripture. That calling became undeniable.
In 2020, I went back to school for a master’s in Theological Studies. That’s when I finally learned how to read and interpret the Bible deeply. It changed everything. That hunger for more led me to pursue a PhD in Bible Exposition—and to create this course, so you don’t have to struggle through Scripture alone.
